Most common fix: check your phone time settings
Authenticator codes can fail if your device clock is out of sync.
Do this first:
Set your phone’s date/time to automatic
Close and reopen your authenticator app
Try the newest code again
Other common issues
1) You’re using the wrong authenticator entry
If you have multiple Konfir-related entries in your app (or multiple organisations), you might be using the wrong one.
Fix: Look for the entry that matches your Konfir account/organisation and try again.
2) You changed phones or reinstalled your authenticator
If you no longer have access to the original authenticator setup, you won’t be able to generate valid codes.
Fix: Ask your organisation admin to reset your MFA, then sign in and set it up again.
3) You’re stuck in a loop at sign-in
This is sometimes caused by browser session issues.
Fix:
Try incognito/private browsing
Clear cache/cookies for Konfir
Try another browser/device
If you need an MFA reset
If you still have access to an admin at your organisation, contact them to reset MFA for your account.
If you don’t, contact [email protected] with:
your organisation name
your account email address
confirmation that you need an MFA reset
