Overview

A cancelled verification contains limited or no usable results because the process ended before the applicant completed the journey.

If you still need evidence for the applicant, your practical options are usually to:

  • rerun the verification, or

  • use your fallback process


Cancellation reasons

Reason

What it means

Timed out

The verification expired before the applicant completed the required steps

Rejected

The applicant declined to continue to Konfir directly.

Duplicate

Another live verification exists for the same applicant

Verifier cancelled

Someone in your organisation cancelled the request

Failed

A system or data error prevented the verification from completing
