Overview
Konfir verifications are generated from the data sources the applicant consented to connect (such as HMRC, Open Banking, payroll, or documents).
When data looks missing, it almost always falls into one of the categories below.
What you’re seeing | What it means | What to do |
Field shown but blank (most common)
| The field is in scope, but no or insufficient data was returned | Apply your fallback process |
Field not shown | The field is not supported by your verification type or configuration | Confirm verification type; Contact Konfir support to check your configuration. |
Field shown but blank
Some fields are blank
This means that we have some data for this activity, but whilst this was able to verify some fields, any blank fields lack sufficient data to be able to calculate or return.
All fields are blank
This means that we have no data for this activity. Either the applicant did not connect any usable data sources, or their connected sources did not contain relevant data for the requested period. The activity will typically be marked Not Verified.
In either case, you’ll need to use your fallback verification process to obtain the required data
Common missing fields
Job title
Job titles are usually only available via a payroll connection. If payroll was not enabled in your configuration, not connected by the applicant, or not returned by the payroll provider, this field may be blank.
Income totals
Income totals require sufficient usable income evidence across the requested period. If coverage is partial (for example, only some months are available), totals may be missing or incomplete.
