How Konfir Supports Applicants

Overview

Strong applicant support is a core part of the Konfir service and central to our mission to remove friction from critical events. Support is not an add-on — it is designed into the product and delivered end to end by Konfir.

Konfir is a fully managed applicant-facing service. This means:

  • you are not expected to troubleshoot applicant issues

  • there is no technical support burden on your team

  • there is no risk of mixed messaging or incorrect advice

If an applicant contacts you directly, the recommended action is typically to redirect them to one of Konfir’s support channels. See How can I support applicants


Support by Design

The primary way Konfir supports applicants is through the verification journey itself. The journey is designed to be intuitive and self-guided, with:

  • Clear, step-by-step instructions in plain-English

  • Video-based guides when applicants encounter difficulty

  • Skip options to handle unhappy paths

As a result, around 95% of applicants complete their verification within 2–5 minutes, without contacting support.


Support Channels

If applicants need further help or reassurance, Konfir provides multiple support options.

Note: If an issue cannot be resolved by Konfir, we will redirect the applicant back to your applicant support contact (set in your Konsole account settings)

Help Center

Konfir’s Applicant Help Center (https://help.konfir.com), provides FAQs, step-by-step guides and explanations within one easily navigable directory.

Links to the Help Center are included in email and SMS invitations and within the verification journey itself.

Chat

The Help Center includes a chat widget that provides quick access to Konfir support. Applicants can:

  • get instant answers from Kora, our AI assistant

  • be guided to relevant Help Center content

  • escalate to a member of the Konfir support team when needed

Email

For more complex or sensitive issues, applicants can contact Konfir’s dedicated support team at: [email protected]. This inbox is monitored by Konfir specialists who support applicants full-time. Our response SLA is 3 hours.
