Overview
You were directed to Konfir because the organisation you contacted uses Konfir Respond to manage reference requests. Instead of issuing a manual reference via email, they use Konfir to provide you with a digital verification. This provides clearer, more consistent information than a traditional reference.
Note: If you need information that falls outside the scope of a verification, you will need to contact the employer directly.
What to do next
Open the employer’s Respond page - You can find this via our Employer Directory. This may also be provided on the employer’s website or via email.
Submit your request - Enter the candidate’s details and select the verification type you need (employment, income, or both).
Applicant consents - Your applicant will be invited to complete a short journey to consent to share their employment and/or income data with you.
Receive the result - You will receive an email notification when the verification is ready. You will be prompted to create or log in to a Konfir account to view the result securely.
Note: Once you have a Konfir account, you can submit future requests directly from Konsole. See How to create verifications
