Overview
Faster completion leads directly to faster decisions. Most delays are caused by one of two factors:
Readiness: the applicant understands what they need to do and why
Reach: the applicant sees the invite
The steps below address both.
1. Set expectations upfront
Applicants complete faster when they know what to expect. Before sending a verification, tell the applicant:
they’ll receive a link from Konfir
it’s part of your verification process
it typically takes 2–5 minutes to complete
Hearing this directly from you reduces hesitation and drop-off.
2. Use multiple invite channels
For invite-based verifications (Konsole or CSV):
provide an email address for email invites
provide a phone number for SMS invites
Using both channels increases the chance that the applicant sees and acts on the request.
3. Consider API integration
Embedding the verification flow directly into your application or onboarding journey helps applicants stay in context and complete faster. See API & Integrations for details.
