Cancelling a verification
To cancel a verification, contact Konfir Support at [email protected] and include:
The Verification ID (or applicant details if you don’t have the ID)
Common reasons to cancel
Verification no longer needed (applicant withdrawn, role closed, screening stopped)
Applicant opted out of completing the verification
Duplicate request created for the same applicant
Requested in error (wrong applicant, wrong workflow, wrong timing)
Incorrect details were used and you plan to re-issue a corrected request
What happens after cancellation
Once cancelled:
The verification will no longer be active for the applicant
You can create a new verification if you still need one (for example, with corrected details)
Editing a verification
Verifications can’t be edited after they’ve been sent. If something needs changing (applicant contact details, employer, dates, etc.), cancel the verification and create a new request with the correct information.
