Overview

Open Banking provides access to bank transaction data from accounts the applicant chooses to connect. Konfir evaluates this data to identify sources of income (including employment) by using indicators such as: payee name, transaction frequency, volume and metadata

Supported banks

Konfir supports most major UK banks. Support is based on Open Banking availability for that provider.

Other FAQs

Why can’t an applicant find their bank?

This is usually because the bank or brand is not currently supported for Open Banking connections, or the applicant is using an account type that isn’t eligible for connection.

Can applicants connect more than one account?

Yes. If an applicant has received income into multiple accounts through the period being verified, they should connect all available accounts
