Konfir Respond replaces manual reference handling with a secure, automated process - saving time, reducing risk, and improving speed for applicants and requesters alike.

Step-by-step: What happens to an inbound request?

  1. Redirect
You provide requesters (employers, screeners, agents, etc.) with a link to your Konfir Respond page - usually by auto-reply email, HR inbox, or careers site.

  2. Request submitted
The requester lands on your branded Respond page, enters basic details (applicant name, contact info, and type of reference), and submits the request.

  3. Applicant consent
Konfir contacts the applicant directly and guides them through a secure consent process. The applicant chooses which data sources (e.g. HMRC, payroll, Open Banking) to connect.

  4. Verification generated
Once consented, Konfir automatically generates a reference report using verified data from the connected sources.

  5. Response delivered
The requester receives the completed reference instantly via the Konfir platform. You’re not involved - no approval or data handling required.

What does the requester see?

All Konfir Respond pages are fully branded with your:

  • Company name and logo

  • Messaging or disclaimers (optional)

  • Support contact (if needed)
